I'm a complete newbie to the model aircraft world, although I've been interested in aircraft all my life. After procrastinating for many years about getting involved with radio controlled aircraft I've finally got around to it. The welcome and support from club members has been fantastic. However the whole hobby/sport is totally new to me and I've learned a lot in the last year, mostly which has confirmed that I've got a huge amount to learn yet. With help from Bruce Woodfield, I've got my trainer in the air. Now all I need to do is to learn how to take off and land... preferably with the model in one piece. From what I've seen, it seems only too easy to bring the plane down in bits!
